Compound Sulfamonomethoxine Sodium Powder (GONGLIANKE)
Compound Sulfamonomethoxine Sodium Powder (GONGLIANKE)
Name
Compound Sulfamonomethoxine Sodium Powder
Ingredients
Sulfamonomethoxine sodium, trimethoprim
Properties
This product is white or almost white powder.
Pharmacology
Sulfa antibiotics. Sulfamonomethoxine inhibits the synthesis of dihydrofolate by competing with dihydrofolate synthase; trimethoprim inhibits dihydrofolate reductase so that dihydrofolate cannot be reduced to tetrahydrofolate. The combined use of sulfamethoxine and trimethoprim can double block the metabolism of folic acid and produce a synergistic antibacterial effect. Sulfamonomethoxine is well absorbed by oral administration, with high blood concentration, low acetylation rate, and high solubility of acetylated compounds in urine, so crystaluria is not easy to occur.
Function and Use
Sulfa antibiotics. Used for respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary tract infections, coccidiosis, swine toxoplasmosis, etc. caused by sensitive bacteria.
